A message from our founder.

Once someone exits a life of trafficking and exploitation, they’re free to fulfill their every dream, right? Not really, not immediately anyway. I know this to be true from my personal experiences. For many, being trafficked and sexually exploited is coupled with a life embedded in trauma, creating a cycle that continues to affect every facet of a survivor’s life. As a consequence, building normalcy as a survivor is not so straightforward.

As a survivor, it took me years to break the cycle of toxicity. No matter how hard I tried to achieve better for myself, I was stuck in the same rut and going nowhere. I struggled with getting a good job. It was hard for me to secure my apartment. Returning to school felt impossible. All because of a past I didn’t choose, a history that happened to me without my consent.

Fast forward years later, and I am out of that rut! With time, stability, and unrelenting support from people who understood my journey, I broke the trauma cycle.

My husband and I founded Twelve 11 Partners because we have a fierce desire to ensure all survivors can become overcomers. Twelve 11 Partners exist to walk alongside and support you in your journey towards becoming an overcomer thriving in freedom. We believe you can be a positive role model and a healthy leader in your family and communities. We’re committed to providing you with sustainable resources to make these goals achievable.

We want you to break the cycle - we want you to THRIVE.

As my husband and I continue this journey, we encourage you to believe with us. Believe that those trafficked and exploited will thrive in freedom. Believe that we all will encounter life-changing opportunities that will propel us to our full, God-given potential.

We want you to know that you are not alone - we got you.

Sincerely,

Kathy McGibbon
