Mentorship Rooted in the Arts
Mentorship at Twelve 11 Partners is grounded in the belief that creativity can open doors to healing, meaning, and possibility—especially when it is approached with care, choice, and respect. We offer intentional, short-term mentorship rooted in the arts for overcomers who are curious about exploring creative expression beyond their trauma.
This mentorship is not designed as long-term case management or a formal training program. Instead, it is offered around specific creative moments, interests, or goals, such as exploring writing in its many forms, engaging in poetry or playwriting, experimenting with photography, sound, or other artistic mediums, or simply reconnecting with creativity in a way that feels safe and accessible.
Mentorship is relational and flexible. Overcomers are met where they are and supported at their own pace, with an emphasis on exploration rather than performance. There is no expectation to share, publish, or present work unless an individual chooses to do so. The focus is on curiosity, voice, and discovering new ways to engage creativity as a source of confidence, connection, and self-trust.
We believe each person carries God-given potential that unfolds over time. Through arts-rooted mentorship, Twelve 11 Partners walks alongside overcomers as they explore what is possible—honoring their journey, affirming their dignity, and creating space for expression that is not defined by harm, but by imagination, agency, and choice.
